Lane Fowler

Lane Fowler is Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of Decentralized Power. He has 35 years of experience in the information technology industry starting as a programmer and expanding skill sets and responsibilities as the technology evolved through the Internet revolution.

As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer with Brainstorm USA and Fund My Contract Lane manages day to day financial operations in addition to the enterprise environment and software development efforts for this national education software sales company. The software business is facilitated by a revolutionary consumer finance platform. This robust Web application processes, tracks, reports and fulfills on millions of dollars in finance applications annually in the first competitive bidding environment on the Internet that puts a network of lenders together with a network of sellers of consumer products and services in real time.

Previously as Director of Research and Development for ISP Alliance in Atlanta, Lane managed the Web-based marketing systems that allowed ISP Alliance to support hundreds of Independent Local Exchange Carriers and Electric Member Cooperatives delivering dial-up Internet services to tens of thousands of rural utility customers. 

Prior to ISP Alliance, Lane was Director of RD for Earthcall Communications implementing initiatives that increased call center productivity by 300%, while reducing labor costs by 75%.

Lane combines his extensive hands on IT experience with a broad understanding of the constantly evolving variety of Internet marketing and social media platforms and ways to implement and manage them in an enterprise environment. Lane attended William Jewell College, with a BS in Physics and lives in Dunwoody, Georgia with his wife Abby. He is a proud father of four.
